1. Industry-leading Navigation Algorithms
Mapping & Localization
Environmental Perception
Path Planning
Motion Control
Unlimited Mapping & Dynamic Localization
Upon initial deployment, Gausium robots will start navigate the landscape and create a semantic map of the site. No location tag, laptop connection or professional engineer is needed for mapping the site.
Supported by high-precision LiDARs and cameras, Gausium robots offer industry-leading capability of mapping and localization, in terms of accuracy and robustness, and efficiency. In a dynamic environment, Gausium robots will locate themselves and update the map in real time.
Precise localization (±2cm) using LiDAR
Super-fast mapping : 30 minutes to map a 2,000m² site
Unlimited mapping area up to 1,000,000m²
Real-time map updates in dynamic environments
3D Perception with AI
Gausium service robots can understand the surrounding environment with deep-learning-based perception algorithms. They constantly learn the landscape of an environment and make advanced behavior decisions.
Trained with millions of real-world pictures, they can identify different types of obstacles and garbage with 99% accuracy, and make corresponding behavior decisions. For instance, when dealing with low obstacles, they would move around electric wires, but drive over speed bumps.
Under the Auto Spot Cleaning mode, the robot will clean those it could clean, and send messages to operators via the App when encountering wastes that are too large for it to clean.
Flexible Path Planning
Path planning for cleaning robots is most challenging because the path should fully cover the operation area while adapting environmental changes and dynamic obstacles. Gausium provides industry-leading planning algorithms with 5 modes: Teach & Follow, Sketch, Auto Cover, Real-time Auto Cover, and Auto Spot Cleaning. This provides users with the freedom to customize their cleaning plans. They can also divide an environment into smaller regions and select the most suitable path planning mode for each region according to the situation.
Teach & Follow
Backtracking spiral filling: Like Auto Cover, but the operator does not have to drive the robot for deployment. Instead, they draw a box on the map to specify the cleaning region and the robot will automatically clean all the passable areas inside the region in each operation.
Real-time AutoCover
Backtracking spiral filling: Like Auto Cover, but the operator does not have to drive the robot for deployment. Instead, they draw a box on the map to specify the cleaning region and the robot will automatically clean all the passable areas inside the region in each operation.
Auto Spot Cleaning
Auto point to point: The robot constantly scans the cleanliness of the nearby floor and automatically performs spot cleaning whenever detecting wastes or stains. By cleaning only where it is needed, it brings up to 4X efficiency improvement and significantly reduces water and power consumption.
AutoCover
Fill-in mode: The operator manually drives the robot around the border of the area for cleaning, and then the robot will automatically generate a zigzag path to fully cover this area in the most efficient way.
Sketch
Point to point: The operator draws a path by setting a bunch of waypoints on the map, and the robot will move along it.
Smooth Motion Control
With high-precision sensors, well-tuned algorithms and elaborate mechanical design, every Gausium robot features smooth starts and stops, flexible turning, strong passability and gradeability.
2. Smart Cloud Platform
Data Intelligence
Powered by the Cloud Platform, the Gausium autonomous solutions will digitalize your service operations and boost your digital transformation by providing 24/7 access to operational data and data analytics.
This allows you to monitor, verify, and improve the operational effectiveness of your entire service operation, helps guarantee that your operation standards are enforced. The data insights also help optimize your operation and maintenance schedules and enable data-driven management decisions.
OTA Updates
Gausium robots connect to the Gausium Cloud Platform to receive over-the-air software updates. New feature releases, performance optimization and bug fixes will be pushed over-the-air for download without additional charge. This means that the purchase of Gausium robots is a value-add investment on ongoing technological innovations.
Remote Maintenance
The Gausium Remote Maintenance Center provides 24/7 cloud-based diagnostics and troubleshooting for your machine, allowing more manageable maintenance and cutting down maintenance costs.
Open API
The open API of Gausium Cloud enables interconnectivity with other applications and IoT devices via cloud computing, and allows the Gausium robots to be integrated with the IoT ecosystem of facilities to drive intelligent management.
3. User-friendly Mobile App
The Gausium App allows you to control the Gausium robots from anywhere, anytime. It offers a plethora of options for you to explore, such as map editing, remote control, task scheduling, data reporting, etc.
Map Editing
- Edit your floor map by setting virtual walls or no-go zones to avoid cleaning restricted areas.
Real-time Monitoring
- Get real-time visibility of task progress from anywhere and keep informed of the consumables status and machine health.
Data Reporting
- Receive detailed reports of operational metrics and charts of historical statistics via the App.
Remote Control
- Remotely activate, pause and terminate task execution via any smartphone, tablet or PC.
Task Scheduling
- Set up a task via the App so that the robot automatically starts cleaning at the scheduled time and location.
4. Fully Unmanned Operation
Docking Stations
The Gausium robots are paired with optional docking stations to increase endurance and decrease manual intervention. Charging docks are available for the models Vacuum 40 series, Sweeper 111, and X series for automatic power charging. Phantas, Scrubber 75, and 50 series are paired with optional workstations for automatic charging, water refill, and discharge.
Having the docking stations deployed on-site spares the need to send someone stand by for service and maintenance while the robot is running. The independence from manual involvement enables the robot to run its task at any time, even outside of working hours. It allows facility owners to deploy their robots well into the night when there is low to no footfall for the best cleaning results.
IoT Integration
Gausium stays ahead of the industry with its development and application of AIoT technologies.
The Gausium robots can realize integration with connected IoT devices based on IoT-enabled sensors and cloud computing.
This significantly minimizes human intervention and largely extends the boundary of “autonomy” for the robots.
Elevator Calling
Currently, Phantas, Vacuum 40 and Scrubber 50 series can be integrated with smart elevator systems through API and realize functions of autonomous elevator taking.
This eliminates the need of having staff on standby to maneuver the heavy robot from floor to floor, and takes cleaning to a whole new level by providing seamless floor cleaning for an entire building without human intervention.
Auto Door Control
Gausium robots can control the auto doors via NFC.
They can communicate with and independently pass through auto doors such as fare gates, rolling doors, and induction sliding glass doors.
